Octopod Observer
A wordy and sketchy salad of my observations of the interactions between the world around and inside me ...
Welcome to Octopod Observer, my attempt to write regularly, in the form of a weekly newsletter. I’m an avid enthusiast (of octopods, observations, creations and conversations) and an absurdist.
I’m intrigued by Octopods and the idea that their brain functions are distributed in their heads and tentacles. Sometimes I wonder if our own minds (warning: a brain to mind leap), which act in so many different ways, isn’t split into many?
And this is about observations and conversations of such a brain. With itself and with the natural and the Anthropocene world.
An attempt to be more mindful, more grateful, more at peace and ease.
I plan writing for a year, 52 weekly posts, during perhaps one of the most tumultuous time of my life so far. And the posts would be a mix of writing (prose, poem) and a lot of doodling/sketching (with octopods playing a role in most of them). All in English with occasional sprinkling of other languages.
If this sounds good to you, subscribe to the newsletter. And suggest it to your friends who might like this too. And you can always write to me at the octopod_observer[at]outlook.com.
